【摘要】 随着信息化和全球经济的发展,英语已经变得越来越重要。英语是世界上使用人数最多的语言。许多国家都已把英语视作基础教育发展的基石。当然,在中国,自改革开放以来,英语教育在中国的等级要求上升的越来越快。作为语言学习的主要输入方式,阅读在听,说,读,写四项技能中也占有很重要的地位,是人们获取信息最基本的途径。所以,不管是在理论上还是在实践中,阅读问题一直是语言教育者关注的焦点。当然,阅读是初中英语教学的主要内容之一,《英语课程标准》尤其强调了要特别重视学生阅读能力的培养。然而,如今我国学生尤其是那些农村中学学生的总体英语阅读能力的现状不容乐观,对于相关的阅读策略和技巧知之甚少,相当多的学生阅读能力下降,阅读效率低下,很难达到新课标的要求。本文基于阅读策略理论,通过问卷调查考察了学生阅读策略的使用情况,并通过实验对原阳县官厂乡第一初级中学初二年级学生95人进行阅读策略的培训,旨在发现阅读策略培训对学生阅读理解能力的提高是否有明显的的效果,以及学生和教师对阅读策略培训的态度。实验结果表明:目前,原阳县官厂乡第一初级中学初二师生的阅读策略使用现状令人堪忧。在日常的英语阅读教学过程中,教师作为教和学的核心和主导,很少讲授阅读策略方面的知识及相关策略,也很少组织学生进行阅读策略训练。而学生在日常的教学过程中也显得有些被动,学生也往往没有足够多的时间和精力进行策略训练。通过近四个月的策略实验,接受阅读策略训练的班级阅读理解成绩高于那些未经过策略训练的班级。并且师生一致认为,阅读策略训练在提升阅读能力方面确实起着重要的作用。本研究可为中学英语阅读教学提供一定的借鉴。
